My Christmas poem.

Grandma Got Revenge

Last Christmas was a blast,
I got presents like that,
But no one believed what grandpa told them,
When grandma was out sprawled in the grass.

But this year was all different,
The opposite as a matter of fact.
Because in the backyard,
Was a man in red that was fat.

There were high heel prints in his forehead,
And deer with tire marked hips.
And his red sleigh had graffiti,
Made with old red lip stick.

Now mom and dad are the crazy ones,
And grandpa and I are the non believers,
And no one can explain why,
In the hood of granny’s car,
There are some kind of antlers or feelers.

This is my heritage poem.

The Golden Watch

Hanging high up in the cupboard,
Being crowded by lots of china,
There hangs a golden watch,
Waiting to be handed down again.

It sits there and tells me,
I’ll be yours someday soon,
But I don’t know what time,
It could be morning or afternoon.

I want to inherit the watch I know,
But the reason to get it I don’t,
So it brings me my one fear,
Its becoming closer to me every year.

Here is my nonsense poem. I hope you find it empty of sense.

Crazy Plane Ride

As I sat on a humongous bird,
And looked out the window at the metal wings,
I saw a flying vehicle that was quite absurd,
It was being driven by some funny lookin’ things.

There were some huge brown dogs with sticks in their head,
Driving a fat pudgy man that was dressed all in red.
And as the pilot looked down below,
The pilot in red hollered HO HO HO!

Then the pilot I thought had gone mad,
When he went on hollering dad.
And the old man gave a shout,
And in presents came and the windows were no longer stout,
So that all the passengers flew out

I made this poem just because.

Man in the Trees

Sometimes I think that I can see
A man hiding up in the trees
But every time I pass those trees
He just laughs and laughs at me
So I think and think and think again
For a reason for me to laugh at him

Here is my longest poem ever,150 words and 24 lines. Inspired by J. Patrick Lewis's Sensational Seasons

Holidays Holidays

January is a new year;
To me February is a big red heart,
Flying from human to human
Giving love a new start.

March is as green as a four leaf clover;
April is the clover’s life saving shower,
Running around pouring rain,
Soaring from flower to flower.

May’s a mother being praised;
June’s a waving flag,
Flying high in red, white, and blue
Like a dog’s tail going wag wag wag.

July is a symphony of fireworks;
August is a dancing leaf,
Prancing and dancing toward the ground
Hitting the ground of grass surrounded by a green reef.

September is a labor free day;
October is a 10 year old ghoul,
Getting and eating candy just like that
Just happy to be out of school.

November’s a turkey big and plump;
Just waiting to be put on a platter,
But compared to December’s presents
The others to me don’t matter.

Here is my metaphor poem,I hope you get a laugh out of it.

Hienadils

As I wandered o’er the lonely hills
And walked along the sea.
I saw a patch of daffodils
Just watching and staring at me.
I slowing approached with glee,
But they just laughed at me.
They were hyenas laughing their hearts out with glee,
But I was a stone cold snake with no teehee.
So that’s why in that patch of daffodils I planted a patch of weeds.
