Here is my longest poem ever,150 words and 24 lines. Inspired by J. Patrick Lewis's Sensational Seasons

Holidays Holidays

January is a new year;
To me February is a big red heart,
Flying from human to human
Giving love a new start.

March is as green as a four leaf clover;
April is the clover’s life saving shower,
Running around pouring rain,
Soaring from flower to flower.

May’s a mother being praised;
June’s a waving flag,
Flying high in red, white, and blue
Like a dog’s tail going wag wag wag.

July is a symphony of fireworks;
August is a dancing leaf,
Prancing and dancing toward the ground
Hitting the ground of grass surrounded by a green reef.

September is a labor free day;
October is a 10 year old ghoul,
Getting and eating candy just like that
Just happy to be out of school.

November’s a turkey big and plump;
Just waiting to be put on a platter,
But compared to December’s presents
The others to me don’t matter.
